The Wairarapa Farmers' 1 ' Co-operative-Association, Ltd., report on their Fahiatua sale held Tuesday in the Farmers' yards as follows:—A medium entry of sheep and a small yarding of cattle was offered to a fair attendance of buyers. Competition at auction was rather slaok, but we wero successful in disposing of-the moßt of our entry. The following sales wer-o effcoted:—Bß ewes with lambs, 355. lid.; 12 fat owes (woolly), 375. The balance-sheet of the Mosgiel Woollen Factory 00., Ltd., for the year ended October 6 ehowe that alter -writing off £5000 for depreciation, £1600 cost of replacements during the year, and providing a sum to meet the income tax, which, ie payable during the current year, there remains at credit of profit and loss £16,175 11s., which includes £12,663 Be. 10d. brought forward from the previous year. NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY. . By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedln. November 7. .• The report of the National Insurance Company shows a balance of £90,043. An interim diyidend of 10s. 3d. pir share was declared. The directors may recommend a further dividend oJ 10s. per share.
