THE DUPLICITY 0F CONSTANTINE
LURID LIGHT ON SECRET TREACHEi
EX-QUEEN'S ACTIVITIES
(Kec. November G, 11.20 p.m.) London, November G. The "Daily Chronicle's" Athena corre« 6pondent says that a lurid light has been thrown on ox-King Constantino';? and his wife's activities by tho publication of forty-nino de-ciphered dispatches between the ex-King and Queen and tho Kaiser through tho medium of M, Theotokis, Greek Minister in Berlin. This correspondence began in December of 1915. It relates to a Gorman loan of 4f1.000.000 francs to Greece, and Constantino's suggestion that Germany should attack General Sarrail's army, a proposal of which M. Skoulondis, then Premier, was aware. Tho i plan failed owing to Yon Hindonbunj's vote. Most of the dispatches emanate from the Queen, whose role in connection with the formation of raiding bands in tho neutral zono arouses tho keenest indigna-tion.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
