NGAURUHOE STILL ACTIVE
— fi RESIDENTS OF NEIGHBOURHOOD ' ALARMED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, November 6. The activity of Ngauruhoe continues. The "Herald correspondent telegraph® that there were soveral violent eruptions during last night, ejecting boulders and lava and being accompanied by vast masses of flame and smoke. A valley in the direction of Toagariro has been tilled with lava emitted from a crevice which has opened in the upper wall of the crater. The prolonged activity has created alarm among residents in the neiglflxrarhood, whose houses have been repeatedly ehaken by the shocks of eruptions.
