KILLED IN THE BUSH WHILB EVADING SERVICE. By Tcleeraph.—Press Aesooiation. Reefton, November 8. Three men, Vincent Carroll, Thomas Kiely, and Patrick Skinner, who were evading military service, took to the bush in April last, ami cantycd twolvo miles from the Jkamalua railway station. Carroll was struck on tho head by a falling limb on Friday, und died cu Saturday. His mates brought the bodv to tho road on Satuirday, rnd to Beefton to-do.?. At the inquest (o-day a finding of accidental deatli was returned, Kiely and Sltinner wore arrested under the Military Servico Act.
