• The casualty list issued on thureday contained tho name of Sergeant J. MK. Boyle, who was killed in action on October 12. Tho deceased, who was wounded in the South African War, was the second son of Mrs. James Boye .Wellington, and husband of Mrs. 1. Boyle, Wellington Road K lbirnie .Sergeant Bovlo won tho Military Medal at the Battle of Messinesfor gallantry in the Lieutenant Neil Boyle, a brother of deceased and who has been wounded for tho third time, is at present in. hos,i „1 in F.nglaiul. Still another brother, Lieutenant 11. D. Boyle, retarded to Wellington recently as a result of a 60VC ro wound received in action. A voungor brother, Sergeant L, M.
