BY-LAWS ADOPTED. By-laws drafted!^. Public Health Committee to regulate tho control of tho municipal mint station were adopted by the City Council last evening. 'The by-laws provide for the jssuo to an applicant whose premises are suitable for dairying purposes of a licence permitting 'him to retail milk produced _in the citv without sending it to tho stalion The fee for such a licenco will be ss, and the holder will bo roared to keep a Tecord of milk sold and to submit to the council a monthly stateraent of it, together with a foo at the rate of id. per gallon. The fee for testing milk at milk stations and cleaning milk utensils will be. W. P« and the dues in respect of any milk will bo required to be £aid before the milk lS ThTpublic Health Committee further reported in connection with tno matter of milk that, as authorised by the coun. oil at the last meeting, and acting in conjunction with the Mayor, they ha accepted the tender of Messrs. and Company for tho " UTch S® of * motor wagons, to be used for tno convej ™ncn of milk to the milk clearing house from the Tailway station, in tho sum of X'GOO.
