-o ■NEWTOWN AND EASTBOURNE. Two rinks from Newtown visited 'Eastbourne on Saturday. The very pleasant game that, followed resulted in a draw as under:—Eastbourne: Walker, F. Chittey, 11. Mayer, T. Mayer (s.), '25; Newtown: W. C'hittey. Manning, Russell, J. Brackenridgo (s.),' 18. Eastbourne: Munro, Marquis, Thomson, Powfcll (s.), 16; Newtown: Davis, Smith, Spiers, Noble (s.), 23. Totals—Eastbourne, '41; Newtown, 41. A very enjoyable game was that botween Abrahams, Riddler, Underwood, Houldsworth (s.), 24; Page, Stephens, H. W. Shortt, P. D. Leslie (s.), 13.
On Saturday, Newtown will bo represented by the following in a friendly game v. Victoria:—Home—Crengel, Remington, Ferguson, ,T. M.
