PALMERSTON SHOW
Very many Wellington people are interested in the big show at Palmerston North. Tho problem of getting to the show in comfort and returning home the same day is now solved, and following last year's innovation a special traMn will leave Thorndon at 7.45 a.m. on Thursday next, People's Day, for Palmerston North, leaving again in tho afternoon at. 1.43 p.m., and arriving at Thorndon at 8.20 p.m. This arrangement is greatly, appreciated both by tho association and :ts supporters, and should go far in (he direction of bringing town people into closer touch with the country folk. Excellent entries have been received, and given fine weather another very successful show is anticipated.
