EMPLOYERS JOINING FOKCES. London, October 25. Tho Central News Agency states that employers are banding together to protect the interest of capital and to adjust relations between employers and employed. They especially seek to make tho further spread of State intervention unnecessary. The larger employers' associations have reached an agreement to form a permanent organisation which will lay the foundations of a common national policy. This arises out of the reorganisation of tho Labour Party, though it is not hostile to it—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. INDUSTRIAL COUNCILS AFTER THE WAB. London, October 25. The War Cabinet, in furtherance of its plans for reconstruction after the war, has adopted tho proposals in the "Whitley Report", issued in March, as part of the Government's policy. It will establish joint standing industrial councils for every well-organised industry. There will be no compulsory arbitration.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
WAGES BOARDS. London, October 25. Mr. G. H. Eobt'i'ts (Minister of Labour) will shortly introduce in tho House of Commons a' Bill establishing Wages Boards for all low-wage trades.—'"l he Tjmes." j?. . .
