FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Prcßcnfc indications aro for variable breczos, with northorlies predominating northwards of New Plymouth and Napier, and oast to south-east winds elsewhere. Expect mild and humid conditions generally, and drizzling rain in parts. The barometer has a falling tendency in tho northern districts, but is likely to rise further in the south. Atmospheric pressure increased in tho south during Tuesday night, and moderate to strong westerly to .soiitherly winds have predominated.
