MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT
TWO MEN INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, October i. A motor-car which was returning to Timaru from the Kurow races met with an accident near Morven, owing to the back tyre bursting off. Three men were in the car. The driver, Bombardier E. Gillespie, escaped with bruises; Mr. George Wells, Government grader at Timaru, suffered a compound fractnro of the right arm, and had several ribs broken; and Victor Meehan had his collarbone broken. A doctor was sent for and the injured men taken-'to Waimate Hospital.
