Keuter's correspondent learns that the Japanese Admiral reports that Japanese destroyers were escorting a liner and transport when the liner was torpedoed. The destroyers produced a smoke screen to protect the liner, from further, attack and resold 550 from the ship, inoludirig women and children, in less than an hour.—Renter.
