ATTEMPTED SUICIDE

A labourer named William Berry, a middle-aged man, shot himself through the mouth with a shot gun this morning at Turakina, and is in a precarious condition. Ho has been removed to Wanganui Hospital. Tho cause for the act is attributed to financial worries. There is little hope of his recovery. Ho has a wife and nine children.
