. ♦ ~ NEW ZEALANDER HOTEL. The case of the Now Zealander Hotel again came before the Wellington Licensing Committee yesterday .morning. Mr. W. G. Biddell, S.M., presided, 'and wli. him were Messrs. 11. I'lotcher, J. Smith, W. J. Helyer, and G. Tiller. It -was announced that an arrangement liad been made satisfactory, to all parties concerned. The application for a renewal of the licenco to Prank Herbert Phillips was granted on condition that it would be transferred immediately to A. J. Monro, who had purchased the lease. Mr. A. Gray, K.C., on behalf of the owner (Mrs. O'Sullivnn) agreed to this. Mr. T. Young appeared for Phil- , lips. Inspector Marsack stated that the police would raise no objection to tho transfer of tho leuso to Mr. Monro.
