The Wairarapa Farmers' Cooperative Association, Limited, Stock Department, report having held a very successful clearing sale op account of Mr. George Allen, of Waingawa. The stock came forward in very good condition, and met with keen competition from a large attendance, buyers being present from Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, and the East Coast. Prices wero as follow:—Sheep: Fat wethers,. £2 to £2 125.; aged ewes with lambs at foot, 345. 4d. to 355. 9d. Cattle: Purebred Hereford cows with calves at foot, £30; Hereford and Shorthorn- cows With calves at foot, £18 to £19; Shorthorn heifers with Shorthorn calves at foot, £14 ss. to £15 •/s.; forward bullocks, £18 'ffs.; 3-year Hereford bull, 37,guinea-s; 2-year Shorthorn bull. 23 guineas; springing dairy heifers, £9 55., £10, £10 55., £11 2s. 6d., £12 to £12 155.; yearling dairy heifers, £4 155.; yearling dairy bull, £5 2s. 6d. Horses: 3-year unbroken filly, £21; 2-year gelding, £16; boys' ponies, £6, £7 10s. to £8. Pony, gig, and harness, £37 10s.; rustic cart, £13. Messrs.
