. — * — : ANNUAL MEETING 01? WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association was held last evening. Air. G. A. Hurley (vice-president) presided, and the delegates present were: Messrs. S. Eoberts (Brougham Hill), AV. J. Melody (Lower Hutt), H. L. Mitchell (Kelburn), G. V: Wilson (Kelburn). L. Mnrsden -iPatone), D. M. Kcan (Greytown), W. Bray and C. Eowen (Newtown), E. Salmond ('J horndon), and R, A. Howie (Victoria College). The report .stated that the Levy Fund account stood at .£273 Is. Bd., which fcrms a substantial nucleus of any amount which mav be needed to acquire a ground when a'suitable opportunity.offers. Tn order to encourage terms amongst the pupils attending the. public schools, a donation of Xi ss. was vrted to a schools' tournament: J'hc assets of the association, which .included investments (JG4I2 ss. 10d.), outstanding subscriptions (4:23), casli in the bank (.£22 3s 3d.), aud cups and material (4.J3 os. •Id'.), totalled JM9-1 ss. 9d. .' Piram (Feilding) Air E. Y. Redward (Wellington), and Mr' \f. Simcox (Otaki); vice-president tc New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, Air H M. Gore; delegates to New.
