September 25, i). 20 p.m.) London, September 25. The Press Bureau reports: "Aeroplanes attacked the south-east coast last evening. at different places in Kent and Essex. A few followed the line of the Thames and attacked London. Bombs were dropped at several points. The disunities hitheHo reported include six killed and about twenty injured.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. SEVERAL GOTHAS ENGAGED. (liee. September 25, 11.40 p.m.) London, September 25. • Several Gotha machines vera engaged in the latest raid, which was generallyexpected, owing to the fine weather conditions. Bombs commenced to fall in London, at S o'clock. The Gothas were seldom visible. The raiders apparently we • divided ' into three parties. The first moved eastward, and the second and third nearer central London. 'The ai tiaircraft gums were exceedingly efficient, extensive barrages driving the raiders off of the centre-.—Aus.-N.Z.
