, _—_4 FORECAST'AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications aro for increasing northerly winds, weather dull to overcast, foßgy in parts, and rain following generally. Baroraoter falling everywhere, but somewhat unsteady in the south. Atmospheric pressure has steadily decreased everywhere, and moderate to strong northerly winds have predominated with mild and cloudy conditions and rain in many parts o£ the South Island especially.
