Melbourne, September 2i. At the annual conference of the Interstate Employers' Federation it ivas resolved that far-reaching alterations, worenecessary in the industrial laws. Resolutions were also adopted in favour of a non-political Royal Commission to .fix basio wages in the various districts throughout Australia; against the Governments investing public money in industrial enterprises; and against further loan expenditure during the war, excepting for war purposes or (or the comuletion of urgent public works.— Press Assn.
