Card, chairman of the Town Board for 6everal terms and commissioner for twenty-one years, was elected unopposed as the first Mayor of tho toroueli of Featherston. The election of nine councillors, held yesterday, resumed in the return of the following m tho order named-.—if. B. Tait, A. C. Holms, B. S. Telverton, M. H. Kendall, J. Adamson T. Davis, Allen Donald, R. I\ Saunders, and W. Benton. There were fourteen candidates, and the polling was heavy.
