HAWKE'S BAY SHOW

■ • I' ' Some exhibitors at shows are under tho impression that the usual railway rebate has been/withclrawn this year, but. this is not tho case, and it will be obtainable on exactly the same lines as lu previous years. The Hawke's Bay A. and P. Society have now' completed arrangements with the Railway Department for stock trains in connection with the Hawke's Bay Show, to be held at Hastings on October 17 and 18, and a condensed schedule of arrangements can be obtained from the secretary, whose office is in' Napier. Tho show pro.gramme is a very complete one, including sections for all classes of stock, poultry, dogs, dairy produce, keeping apples and pears, needlework, and last but not least horse competitions. The last section isalways a very'popular one at the Hawke's Bay. Show, and the prize-money is therefore on a liberal scale.
