SEAMEN'S STRIKE
NO CHANGE. The 6trike o£ the seamen_ 011 the small steamers sailing out of Wellington appears to have reached tile stalomato stage. The-Seamen's Union has refused to submit the trouble to arbitration, and has, through its secretary (Mi\ W. 1 • Young), refused to parley further with the Wellington branch of the shipmasters' Federation. , The federations representatives, who have evinced no inclination to give way, state that they now await'action on the part of the Government.
