WAR BONDS
PROPOSALS FOR REDEMPTION. In the Housb of Representatives yesterday, ill'. J. C. Thomson asked tho Minister of Finance Ahct'hor the Post Office War Bonds would be available at tho end of Octobor. Many people, he said, who were away from home, vould no doubt like to invest in the bonds on their return. He also asked if the State would redeem the bonds in the event of a person wlio invested all his savings in them getting into pecuniary difficulties..
Sir Joseph, Ward 6tatcd that applications for War Bonds would be accepted to the end of October and probably after that.
