"Paddy's Market" Doll Stall.
Mrs. .Gibbons and her committee ■ will be in charge of a doll stall in connection with "Paddy's Market," and prizes for doll-dressing competitions will bo given. For competitors up. to fifteen years of age a silver wristlet watch will bo the prize, .and for those between fifteen and twenty a gold wristlet watch; over twenty, also a. gold wristlet watch. All tho dressed dolls which are entered for competition are to become, tho property of the committoo for.the benehfc of their stall. Two well-known ■ ladies will be the judues. It is hoped that there Avill bfc a largo number of entries. Mrs Gibbous 88 Nairn Slrect (telephone 6JSA) will answer all inquiries. Tho prizes will be on view in Stewart Dawsons windows very shortly.

On September 6 at Wanoß-on-Thames the marriage took place of Lieutenant: Ralph ¥. R. Beetham, N Z.jJ.l., to Mft. Hutchison, eldest daughter of the lato Mr. William Booth, of Carterton and of Mr*.
