ANNUAL EEPOBT. The annual report of tho Wellington Pigeon, Poultry, and Canary Association states that at the annual show entries in tho poultry, canary, and cat section were above those of last year, while tho pigeons showed a slight decrease. All exhibits were of a high standard. Tho society financially is in a' much moro favourable position than at the commencement of the year. After investing M Gs. for trophies, there is left a balance of MS 16s. 7d. Much of the financial success of the society is due to the share in tho art union promoted by tho New Zealand Championship Association. The membership of the society stands at 70, being one less than the previous year. The balance-sheet shows that receipts from nil sources totalled £m 19s. 10d., including a balance of 19s. lOd. brought forward from last year. On the year's operations, the society is able to carry forward a credit balance of £16 lGs. 7d. • In the statement of assets and liabilities, the. assets' are set down as valued at i! 92 13s. 2d., and tho liabilities (accumulated funds) as a corresponding amount' ■'
