MASTERTON SUPREME COURT
(By Telegraph-Seecial CorresDondenM ' ' Masterton, September 13. In the Supreme • Court to-day, a, roan named Thompson, a motor proprietor, ot Greytown, who had been convicted and fined 40s. by Mr. Eeid, S.M., for recoiving benzino which had been stolen, appealed against tho conviction. After hearing counsel, the Chief Justice (sir Robert Stout) reserved judgment. Frank Christensen appealed agmnst a. conviction entered by Mr. Reid, S.JI., lor having brandy in. a Hennessy s bottle lor sale which was not Hennessy branoy. ]n this case also judgment wae resen'ed. At * sitting in divorce, His Honour granted a tulo nisi, to bo made absolute in three, months, in a case in which Maude Lilian Taylor applied for a dissolution of hor marriage with (ieorgo Eenry Taylor, on the grounds of adultery.
