LABOUR'S POLITICAL PLATFORM
WELLINGTON COMMITTEE REFUSES i'O ADOPT IT.
It is" understood that for some time there have been grave differences.of opinion among the members of the Labour Representation Committee in WellingAt a meeting of the committee this week the New Zealand Labour Party's political platform was considered. Tho discussion was long, and at times heated. the committee decided not to adopt tho platform of the New Zealand Labour Party because of the inclusion in the platform of the State control issue. Certain members 'of the committee consider that the liquor issue should be left completely alone by the Labour Parly. I'ho deoision of tho committee is regarded as of considerable importance to tlia Labour Party.
