BREACH OF TRUST ALLEGED

"At the Magistrate's Court -late this afternoon, Alfred' Eraest Craddock, of Christchurch, a well-known land and commission agent, and now bankrupt, was charged that on May 1, 1915, lie, being trustee of the will of Dennis Booker, formerly of Christchurch. farmer, who died in July, 1912, with intent to defraud and- in violation of his trust, converted ,£350 of which he was a trustee to his own use, this being not authorised by the said trust. Mr. Gressan appeared for accused, who pleaded' not guilty. . Mr Eaymond, K.C., said Craddock had just been arrested, and asked for a remand. Further investigations were being conducted, and were likely to bo other charges. Mr. Gresson applied for Mr. Eaymond, while not opposing the application, asked that the amount bo fairly substantial. , ' , .... The Magistrate remanded accused till Monday next, and fixed bail at accused in .£SOO and two sureties of .£SOO each.
