TIMARU HARBOUR DUES
ALTERATIONS DECIDED ON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, September 8. Tho Harbour Hoard to-day resolved to alter the harbour dues and wharfage charges, somewhat, increasing tho former and reducing the latter in respect of measurement charges, which do not exceed twice the dead weight charge. This affects tho import of motor-cars chiefly. Wharfage on coal is increased from Is. Gd. to 2s.
