S. Dickson, who inquired of tho "Minister cf Finance whether ho would take power under ithe Finance Bill to compel the banks in tho Dominion to extend the time from two years to four years in which to pay off a loan which is advanced on tho war debentures. Sir Joseph Ward (Minister of Finance) replied: "This is not a matter in which the Government can interfere. It is purely a question as between tho banks and their clients.
