INTERCOLUBGIATE TOUHNAMENT.

Tho final match in tho intercollegiate football tournament resulted in a drawn game (three points each) between Christ's College.and- Wanganui Collegiate School. Kennedy scored a try for Wanganui and Hargroaves kicked a penalty goal for Christ's College. The Christ's College forwards dominated the play for fully three parts of the game, nnd gave their backs plenty of chances, but the passing -was very 'feeble indeed. .The Wanganni backs played a far more eteady gamo and supported their forwards much better than , the Christ's College' bheke did tjicir pack. On Friday next Palnier6ton North will welcome youthful Rugbyites from tho school districts of "Wellington, 'Wairarapa, and Wangahui. On Saturday will commence a series of gauiej between these teama and the Hanawatu representatives. .The series will occupy nearly a week, and in addition arrangements have been made by the local'officials to entertain the. visitors, so that an enjoyable visit is assured. The following is the official programine: Friday, August 31: Teams arrivo and are billeted. • Saturday: 11.30 a.m., official reception and luncheon; 1.-15 p.m., Wellington plays Waugauui; 3.15 Manawatu v. Wairarapa. Monday: !) a.m., Post Office, trip to Tiritea; 1.45 p.m., Wellington .\. Wairarapa; 3.15, llanawatu v. Wanganui. Tuesday: 7 a.m., railway station, trip to Mr. Seit'ert s (laxmill, Miranui; 7.45, pictures, Kosy Theatre. Wednesday: 1.15 p.m., Wanganui v. Wairaiapa; 3.15, Wellinglon v. Manawalu. Thursday: 7 a.m., railway station, trip-to 51 r. K. Hhort's stud farm, IVlding. Friday: Teams lcavo for home. Tho following boys from Wellington schools will make tho trip :-Standidf;c.
