JURY FAILS TO AGREE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, August 29. The Supremo Court was occupied to-' day in rehearing tho case in which Whaingawa Wirihana was charged with the manslaughter of a newsboy at Hastings. Accused's motor-car collided with the toy's bicycle, and the collision caused tho latter's death. This was tho third trial, and tho jury failed again to agree, and a new trial was applied for. Tho Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) said the requirement of unanimity in the jury in theso cases was a uorfect farce.
