YOUTHFUL OFFENDERS DEALT WITH Two youths came before His t'onnur Mr. Justice Hosking for sentence in tho Supremo Cout;t yesterday. Norman l'ciirco (aged 17) and Lionel Kobert Hodges (aged 18). had pleaded guilty io two charges of breaking, entering, and stealing at Lovin. His Honour said with regard to J'enrro that tho probation officer dirt not recommend probation. Pcarcc would bo roini'.ndcd till His Honour could ascertain whether the Minister would have him cemniitted to an industrial Bcliool. His Honour said that, tho beet thing for Hodges, who was an industrial school boy licensed out, would bo for him to go back to the school; As HodgCH could be recommitted only by a Magistrate, ho was ordered to ho taken before the lower Court with a iccom:nendation that His Honour's wish'be nut irto effect.
