NIGHT PHARMACY
FROM MONDAY EVENING NEXT. The occupiers of all chemists' shops in the City of Wellington have agreed on and after August 20 will bo closed in tho evenings of working days as follows: —On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at G p.m., and on Fridays at 9 p.m. On Saturdays the closing hour will bo 1 p.m., and the shops will reopen from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday hours will bo 9 a.m. to 10 a.m* and 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. With a view ! to meeting tho needs of; the public who will be seriously affected as a result of such change, tho combined chemists have agreed to run a night pharmacy, at 59 Cambridge- Terrace, which will be open for the sale of medicines and surgical appliances most urgently- required. The manager of this shop "will bo Mr. Gillies, late of Christchurch. The combined chemists have an equal right to share in the profits of this shop.
