AN HABITUAL CRIMINAL
By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 16. At the Supreme Court, Ngawati Slade, a young Maori, was sentenced to a year's imprisonment and declared an habitual criminal, on a charge of breaking, entering, and theft from a store at Rawene.
