"ALL IS WELL WITH THE NAVY"

A VISIT TO THE GRAND FLEET. (Rcc. August 16, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 15. Colonol Rcpington, after a visit to the Grand Fleet, writes: "All is well with tho Navy. Its efficiency is one hundred per cent, higher than it was at tho outbreak of tho war, and iiity per cent, better than it was at tho Battlo of Jutland. Tho battleships are in order, and thoro are no signs of wear and tear, testifying to the unceasing vigilance of the dockyards, considering that 20,000 naval units have boon repaired since 1911. Tho health of the naval men is superb. The men aro contented and good-humoured. Our Navy is now an incomparably superior instrument, and if fortune offers us another Fleet action no one can doubt tho result."—The "Times."
