HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. At His Majesty's Theatre this week the programmo includes a clever Scotch comedy sketch by three members of the Runty Company, which appeared in Wellington some timo ago. A big attraction is provided by the Italian vocalists, Signer and Signora Jtolimiri, who render hotli classical and popular airs with equal success. Other good turns arc provided by Ford and I'errin (simultaneous dancers), Madame Loreny. (trapezist), Tim ond Gertie Moore (coloured coons), and M'Lean and Drury (whirlwind dancers). The programme will be presented again; to-night. "THE BIRTH OF A NATION." "The Birth of a Ration" concluded its season at the King's Theatre last evening. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. "Wild Winship's Widow" drew another good attendance to Everybody's Theatre last evening. Tho leading role is played by Dorothy Dalton, an actress of worldwide reputation. She appears as the widow, who, in the opening scenes, is busy rejecting suitors, but who, as time goes on, has reason to change her tactiiQ and develops into a darins and rusee manhunter. The comedy is splendidly mounted. EMPRESS THEATRE. The captain of "The Gray Horse Troon." a stirring Vitagrayh drama now _ being screened at the Empress Theatre, is one of the finest productions by the company some time. It is a vivid theme in which the romantic element is allowed full scope. Edith Storey, as the heroine, is playing opposite Antonio Moreno. Set in an Indian reservation of America, part of the story is remarkable for its beautiful settings, and tho clean-cut characters of the minor personages are a strone element in its favour. The fifth chapter of the thrilling serial story, "The Iron Olaw," is also on tho same programme.
