SWISS NEUTRALITY
ENDANGERED BT PRESS COMMENTS. (R«c. August 15, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, August 14. Tho Slate Department announces that tho police at Berne, Switzerland, raided tho offices of the newspaper 'Troio Zeitung" because it endorsed the attitude of President "Wilson regarding the war. If tho Swiss Government defends the police diplomatic complications are expected. It is known that a numßer > of Swiss newspapers are openly supporting Germany more strongly than the "Freie Zeitung" defends the Allies and America. If the Swiss Government gives a free hand for pro-German comments and_ suppresses pro-American views, Switzerland's neutrality will ho questioned.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable "Assn.
