HEAVY DEATH-ROLL IN GERMAN CITIES. Berne, August 14. Hunger and typhus aro scourging many parts of Germany, 'i'iipro six hundred cases, and STty-four deaths, in Mannneim. Disease is afflicting Cologne, Karlsruhe, and Mulhausen. The authorities diagnose it as dysentery, and order night burials in order to quell panic—The "Times."
