The Federal Navy Officp reports that the Buins-Philp steamer Matunga, eft Tonto from Sydney to Rabaul (New Guinea) is seven days' overdue "is feared that she has been lost as the result uf an internal explosion. She carried a smalL military detachment for Rabaul.— Pres3 Assn.
