COLD WINTER WEATHER
Yesterday was a cold, bleak day. with alternate blinks of sunshine and stinging rain squalls. I/arc in the afternoon the rain turned to hail, and tho drumming on the roofs emphasised tho wintry feelinjr in tho air. These conditions, it is officially predicted, aro to continue, especially in tho northern and East Coast (liofricts. Tho barometer is rising everywhere.
