CRIPPLED SOLDIERS' HOSTEL
The drawing of tho Crippled Soldiers' Hostel Art Union will take place on September fi in .the- Town Hall, Wellington, in public, and under the supervision of tlie Mayor of Wellington, the managers of the banks, and the Superintendent of Police. A largo octagonal box lias been made for holding the butts of the ticket?. This will rovolve on a spindle, thus ensuring a thorough mixing of all tickets. Thero will also be a smaller box containing numbered marbles, which will determine tho prizes to be drawn for from tho larger box containing the ticket butts. The system of drawing will be strictly fair to all ticFel-holdors, nnd each ticket will have a .chance of being drawn for every iprizo, 'in fulfilment of the advertised offer to natrons of the clinnee of winning .£IOOO for Gel. The last day for the sale of tickets by agents is August 28. Apart from the high intrinsic value of tho prizes offered in this art union for a humblo sixnenco, the days are crowing loss when tickets will be obtainable..and tlie opportunity will soon have passed to help in tlie worthy ca.use of establishing a comfortable home in the capital city of the Dominion for homeless crippled soldiers and sailors. Those who have not helned in this matter are commended to do so without further delay. A. large advertisement in this issue sends out the "5.0.5." message, and also provides a form to be filled in in reply. If you alreadv have bought tickets why not take'more?
