CURIOUS CASE OP VEILED OIUGIN. A curious position recently arose at Bedford Modern School. After the appointment of a new headmaster a tew months ago, the teacher of German. Dr. Tischbroek, was asked to resign on the ground* that he was a German by birth. He resigned, and the affair caused some feeling in the town. His successor. Air. D. J. A.
