The South Wales Mineis' Conference, by 112 votes to 43, recommended the institution of a peace movement in the belligerent countries with a view to compelling a statement of their war aims. The Executive Committee was/instructed to draft a formula- for submission to the coalfields lodges and thereafter convene a special conference on the subject.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Aesn.
