' Ernest Evans, a driver for Keir'and Co., fell oIY hfs cart at the wharf on Saturday and injured his right knee. He was admitted to the Public Hospital. Evans is a resident of Binham Street. LITTLE BOY KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 4. A child named Trevor Capill, aged 4} years, died in hospital to-day as a result of being knocked over by a motorear. While crossing, the street and sivoliling road workmen he ran into the car. ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED. Timaru, August' 4. Robert Scott, agec! 55, was found drowned at Winchester yesterday morning. Ho was for many years a driver of a coach between Ornri and Geraldine. An inquest was held at Temuka, and a verdict was roturnod that deceased was accuTenUlly drowned.
