CHARGE OF SEDITION
• By Telegraph—Press Association. ■ Whakatane, August 2. John Fisher Skipper, a'well-known resident, wasarrested at Whakatane on Monday last on a charge of using seditious language at a welcome racial to returned soldiers at Mata'ta. He was brought before a Justice of tho Peace at-tho Police Court yesterday; and remanded to appear before the Magistrate at E-otorua.
