Members of the society throughout tho Dominion kavo during tho jxar rendered professional assistance to the Government in various ways, particularly in the auditing of patriotic and other ttrifunds.

The council inaugurated a benevolent fund in connection with the society. War bonds to the value of .SlOflfl veve purchased out o'f tho accumulated fui-d, iiiul transferred to tho credit of 1.110 benevolent fund capital account, and to this have been added individual contributions by members. The income and expenditure account of the society discloses a surplus for the year of JC3S2 Cs. 7d., am! the accumulated fund stands at £2159 03. Sd.
