WELLINGTON Y.M.C.A.
■ MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN. The membership Campaign Committee of the Wellington Y.M.C.A. entertained at tea the visiting association secretaries and other employed officers of tho association from various parts of the Dominion. Mr. W. A. Eglin, chairman of the Campaign Committee, presided, and extended a cordial welcome to tho visitors. Ho stated that the Wellington association was offering freo membership for twelve months to even' returned soldier. Messrs. Kenny (Auckland), Taylor (Wanganui), Mason (Christchurch), and King (Ifastings) spoko on behalf cf the visitors, wishing tho Wellington association every success .in its effort, and offering suggestions as to how tho campaign might be most successfully conducted. It was reported that of the 500 new members aimed at, 225 lueiv and boys had already been secured. Mr. A. Varney, in the course of a brief, inspiring talk, indicated the vast extent of the present work of the Y.M.C.A. by saying that its huts all over the world were being used by something like 1u,000,000 men every week.
