THE WOOL PURCHASE
FARMERS' CONFERENCE. VIEW,
The Farmers' Union Conference resolved yesterday:—"That this conference is of tne opinion that the offer of the Imperial Government to purchase our wool at the same price per lb. and on tho same terms as last year is satisfactory, but we demand that the Dominion Government stipulate that payment must be for -net weight, i.e., no draft allowance. Wo are advised that the arrangements regarding valuation and classification were not strictly followed last year. If this is so, this conference consider that the spirit and intentions of the valuation and classification should be strictly followed."
