FAREWELL TO EEV. A. C. W. STA'NDAGE. Tho, annual_nieeting of the KelburnC J Presbyterian CJiurch was held last even- ' in". There was a large attendance or. members, and the Eev. A. C. "W. Standage, M.A., presided. Heports of the various organisations of the church were presented, and gave proof of a successful, year. The meeting also took the form of a. farewell social to Mr. and Mrs. Standago prior to their departure to Fair-he. The Eev. W. J. Comrie, who presided at the after-meeting, expressed the sincere regret of the congregation at thetransference of Mr. Standage from Wellington, and in recognition of his faithful services and the esteem in which ho is held by all presented him with a purse, of sovereigns. Mr. C. P. Moore, on behalf of tho session, presented Mr. Standage with a, ' framed enlarged photograph of the officebearers of the church. Speeches expressing appreciation of Mr. Standage's work iv:ere also made by Messrs. E. P. Hay, G. Thompson, and ■ the Eev. Bruce Todd, Moderator <| tho Presbytery. ' i Mr. Comrie presented Mrs. Standage with an afternoon tea set. and a caso containing silver fork and '• spoon for •Master lan Standage. On rising to respond, Mr. Standage was greeted-with hearty applause. He thanked all for their kind words and for their tokens of affection and esteem, and said he would carry away very pleasant recollections of his seven yenTs' ministry » Kelbum.
